Middle Layer Hurdles: Being a highly sensitive industry the customer wanted to only utilize the information which is publicly available on their website. This meant that a middle layer strategy needs to be undertaken to retrieve all the information from the website using a HTML scrapper to populate the middle layer.

Memory Management: Since the solution was supposed to work in airplane mode so it was a major challenge to retain high-resolution images in memory. This required stringent memory management measures.

History – Data Pruning: The aircraft manufacturer has more than 80 years of history which is on the website. Pruning the entire history and presenting the same on the small screen turned out to be a major challenge from UI perspective.
